Hyderabad is high on football fever and Groundwala is here to offer yet another exciting sports weekend in Hyderabad for football lovers. Here is every thing you need know about the event:
What: 5 – A – Side Football Tournament
When: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on 30th & 31st Jan. 2016 (Sat & Sun) The last weekend of January.
Where: HotFut, Begumpet, Hyderabad (One of the best astroTurf in Hyderabad)
Cost: Registration fees of Rs 3,500/- per team
Prize: Cash Prize of Rs 10,000/- for the winners.
Format:
- 5 players a side plus 2 substitutes.
- League cum Knockout format.
- 4 groups of 3 teams each, total teams 12.
- Two matches at the league stage for all teams. (Sat, 30th Jan)
- Top two team from each group will qualify for knockout stage. (Sun, 31st Jan)
- At group stage 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and none for the loser. Total points will be counted to determine the positions of the group.
- Game timing of 30 minutes (15 min each half and 5 minutes half time break)
At the venue there is cafe, refreshment, shower, changing room, restrooms, bibs and referees. So if you are over 18 years of age then just turn up with a pair of studs, the Astroturf is waiting for you.
